Join Heather for a new batch of online drawing classes starting in November:
Drawing a Rose in Colour – November 7, 14, 21, 2024 from 7-9 pm CST
Over three weeks, artist and naturalist Heather Hinam will take you through the steps of drawing and colouring with coloured pencils a complete rose illustration. This course assumes students have a very basic understanding of coloured pencils.
Supplies
- Pencils – 4H
- Coloured pencils
- Eraser
- Sketching paper
- Heavy-weight smooth drawing paper (bristol or hot press watercolour paper)
- A Faber Castel Polychromos palette will be sent ahead of the first class
- Embosser (optional)
Drawing a Wild Cat Portrait in Colour – November 25, December 2, 9 from 7-9 pm CST
Over three weeks, artist and naturalist Heather Hinam will take you through the steps of drawing and colouring with coloured pencils and complete portrait of a wild cat (species TBD). This course assumes students have a very basic understanding of coloured pencils.
